Our Second Anniversary!!

Daniel and I spent this weekend celebrating our two year anniversary!! We can't believe that two years have already passed. All at the same time it feels like we've just met, yet we've known each other forever. We planned a special get-a-way this weekend since Dan will be donating bone marrow on the actual day of our anniversary (June 13th).

We found a great deal on Groupon a few months ago, so we knew we had to jump on it, so we've had this weekend planned for awhile now. We went to the Cabins at Bear River Lodge. It was absolutely breathtaking! The cabin was wonderful and the Uintah Mountains are gorgeous. We both had a blast!

Here are some pictures of the cabin we stayed in. It was a one bedroom, with small kitchen. It was probably nicer than the apartment we currently live in. Hahaha, every now and then we enjoy living in style :)

The living room - with a nicer TV than ours. And DishNet. I think we watched like 5 movies and at least 2 episodes of Chopped. And we were only there two nights :) It was awesome!

The cute, rustic bedroom! The cabin was decorated so adorably with rustic clocks and furniture! It was so fun!

We spent the majority of the weekend just relaxing and eating delicious food. We made brats and ribs while we were there. The cabin also had a porch swing that I absolutely loved sitting on! We had a great view of the mountains and the Bear River.

On our way home today we stopped for some fishing in the Uintahs. While the fishing wasn't that hot, the scenery was beautiful, and the company even better. We both took a book with us, and then sat and read while we waited for fish to bite. It was so much fun!

I had to take a picture of myself to prove I was there :)

Dan getting the fishing lines all set up. He is awesome and does a lot of the hard work when we go fishing.

The beautiful lake we were at.

That is Bald Mountain in the background (or Mount Baldy as Dan fondly calls it)

We really had a beautiful and wonderful weekend together. I love anniversaries! It is a good excuse to see how far we have come in the past two years, and to also think about what lies ahead in the next few. We are really enjoying going on so many adventures together! We are blessed to have each other and to live in such a beautiful place!
