I can't believe that we are already half way to meeting this little man of ours! I also can't believe that I have to wait another 20 weeks for him to get here!! Honestly, at this moment in time ... it feels like an eternity! Hahahaha, I think I am just too excited to get to hold him!!
So being 20 weeks pregnant isn't actually too bad! I've got a little bit of a bump going on, and that is wonderful! Its nice to not really be in that awkward "is she actually pregnant or just fat" stage anymore. So to give more information about my pregnancy I have decided to copy the following questions off of other blogs that I've seen, simply because my pregnant brain is lacking in the creativity department!
How far along? 20 weeks exactly!!
Baby's size: 6.5 inches long and 10.5 oz; so roughly the size of a small cantaloupe; at least that is what my BabyBump App says.
Maternity clothes? All the time, or sweats and an old t-shirt when I'm home. None of my old tops really fit me anymore. And there isn't a chance in this world that my jeans will button up. For that I have a belly band, which is amazing! And means I don't have to buy any new pants yet! And I also have the most amazing sisters in the world who have sent me their old maternity clothes, and that has been a lifesaver!!
Best moment this week: Getting a huge box of baby boy clothes from my sister whose youngest son just turned 1 year old! Going through all the clothes has made me so excited for this little man to arrive!! Oh, and also my mom buying me these adorable shoes!! I just can't get over the cuteness!!
Miss Anything? Sleeping straight through the night!
Movement: Baby kicks fairly often, especially when I sit up straight or lean forward slightly and squish him
Food cravings: I'm not really craving anything specific, just hungry all the time!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I always gag while brushing my teeth. And coughing ... coughing makes me want to puke.
Gender: Boy!! And we are so excited! Some people have thought I would be disappointed with a little boy, but they couldn't be more wrong!
Looking forward to: Our anatomy scan on Monday, and getting to see our little guy on tv! We're also hoping everything looks good and healthy!!
