Toddler Shenanigans

For some reason I forgot this time that my newborn would be the easy child. Newborns are exhausting, but their not sassy and opinionated like toddlers and preschoolers ;)

Logan loves to sleep all day, party all night. So during the days I’ve been trying to find things for the other two kids to do. They have so much energy, and I’m not totally ready to go on any big adventures yet - I mean, it hasn’t even been two full weeks since Logan joined the family!! I think our next adventure will have to be the park, just me and the three kids. It seems like a pretty safe first outing alone.

We have done a few fun activities this past week while daddy has been at work! And Benjamin had preschool this week as well. I’m proud I got all three kids out the door and Benj to preschool by 9 am twice this week!!

Water beads have been the big hit this week!! I filled up a large plastic container with them, and the kids have enjoyed using my kitchen utensils and lots of toys to explore and play! They have made a great sensory activity! I’ve been most impressed with how much Dani loves them! She hasn’t historically been a very good independent player, but she will stand and scoop these water beads by herself for quite some time!!

We’ve been lucky the weather has warmed up a bit this week, so we’ve been playing outside. I wrap Logan up and we sit in the garage and watch the older two bike and play.

Benj also found Dans vest and hard hat for when he goes on site visits for work, and enjoyed dressing up in them and playing ‘construction worker’. Benjamin loves to dress up and make believe!

Dani’s favorite activity this week has been playing baby. She is a sweet little momma to her dolly. She buckles it into and out of the car seat all day long, wraps it in blankets, and drags her all over the house!

And a few pictures of Logan, just because he is the sweetest thing!

I love this crazy life of mine.
