Dani May

 My kids have all changed so much since last posting. Dani May is now two and a half, but closing in on 3 in December. She is still my little spitfire. The girl is so full of attitude and personality, I’m not sure how her body contains it all. She has two volumes - asleep or screaming. Her happy screams are mainly a delight, the mad ones not so much 😂

She is changing everyday, and is in a stage where her language skills are exploding. She says everything, although Dan and I often have to translate for others. And Benji often translates for us. He definitely understands her the best. Those two are the best of buds, and I love it! They also fight tooth and nail, which I love a little less. 

Dani’s biggest accomplishment recently is potty training! One less bum to change is wonderful! She is still in pull-ups at naptime and bed, and will poo or pee in those, but overall she has done well! She was actually much harder to teach than Benj was. She is fiercely stubborn, and hates being pulled away from the fun and the excitement just up use the potty. But I think we have successfully passed that hurdle!!

Dani loves anything her brother does, including superheroes. I’ve convinced her Tangled is the best princess, although Frozen is a close second. S lately she has fallen in love with the color pink (no idea how that happened) and she loves to dress herself. She has these pink sunglasses she loves to wear, and they are just the perfect embodiment of who she is!!!

 Dani is both passionate and gentle. She loves her brothers fiercely, and will defend them whenever they are in trouble. And then she’ll turn around and give them a talking to when they need it. She is loud and wild, soft and gentle. She loves pink, princesses, and dresses. She also loves mud, superhero’s, and coloring. She is all things good in this world.
