Our 1st Anniversary

On June 13, 2013 we celebrated our one year anniversary. I can hardly believe that an entire year has already gone by! It literally feels like just yesterday we were rocking out at our reception. It is however easy to see the changes that have come in the past year. We've come so much closer together. We've learned how to work things out better, to communicate, to have fun together. It is cool to look back and see how our relationship has changed and grown.

To celebrate we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Kyoto. It is a Japanese steakhouse, where they grill all of the food right on the table in front of you. It is such a fun atmosphere!

The food was absolutely delicious! Then we ended up going to GI Joe: Retaliation at the dollar theater. It was very spur of the moment, and we had a blast! The movie was very good too!

Then we headed home to try out the top tier of our wedding cake that we had saved for the past year. We were both kind of nervous, since we'd heard bad things from other couples who had done the same thing.

We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! We both really liked it! It was red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting! Yum!! It was a fun way to end the evening and reminisce about our wedding day!
