My First Job

Ladies and Gentleman, I have finally landed my first job post-college. When I quit student teaching I was really nervous about what I was going to do with my life. It took me about a week to get a job, and boy, did that feel good!! After quitting something that was so stressful and life-consuming, it was good to feel like I was still worth something. I received a mean-hearted letter from the teacher I had been working with. She acted like I flippantly decided to quit student teaching. But that decision was in no way made lightly. And since quitting I feel great.

After two weeks of sitting at home, interviewing for jobs, and spending time with family, I have started my new job. This whole week I will be training at corporate, and then next week I start in my actual placement. I am really enjoying it so far!!
