Date Night Extravaganza

Daniel and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day celebration. We had a delicious dinner at Kyoto. (a Japanese hibachi grill. YUM!!) And then we exchanged presents. It was so much fun. I got some beautiful pearl earrings, the game Munchkins, and lots of yummy treats. He also set up this huge game tournament. For each game that one of us wins, we get a certain amount of points. The first person to 200 wins the prize. (the prize is in the envelope, I don't know what it is though.) He definitely spoiled me.

For his present, I planned out a date night for every Friday from now until the end of May. I also included some Saturday dates that we can choose when we need some fun on the weekends. I put them all in envelopes, and wrote out a notecard for each one. Take a look:

Those are just some of the dates envelopes I've made. Each one is sealed, so until the date on the envelope Dan doesn't know what we are going to be doing. So, at least until the end of May I will be documenting these dates that we go on each Friday night.

Here is the first one:

And then here is what was inside the envelope:

So Dan and I got to go geocaching last night!! It was so much fun. My mom came down and spent the early afternoon with us, so by the time we headed out to hunt it was getting dark. But the nighttime made it much more exciting!! And difficult! hahaha.

I included in the envelopes the coordinates to two different caches. Before we left we looked them up on Google Maps (because we don't have a smart phone with GPS). And then we went out searching for them. They were pretty hard to find. We searched and searched. And then we finally found one of them!! We were super excited to have found it! We never did find the second one, but that is ok. We had a blast. Each cache has a log to sign when you find it, and then you leave something for the next person to find. We had fun choosing what to leave, searching, and enjoying the scenery. You can't tell from the pictures, but it was in a wooded area along the Provo Trail. Enjoy some pictures of our adventures!

Daniel and I are both excited for the future dates! I think me more than him, just because I know what they are and I think he'll really like them!!
