A Baby Shower

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful extended family that is so generous and loving. I have a cousin my same age who is also pregnant. She is actually due the day after me, so yesterday our Aunt Suzanne held a combined baby shower for the two of us. It was such a blast! My cousin Natalie is expecting a little girl, and as you all know we are having a little boy. I was in awe of all the wonderful gifts we got. It is a wonderful feeling to know my family loves this little guy, even before he has arrived! Baby Benjamin is definitely a spoiled little guy!

This is a beautiful diaper cake that my cousin Shannon made for me! It is so adorable! The zebra on top moves and makes sound, and there are so many other treats attached!! There are finger puppets and bath rags, chew toys and baby lotion! It is just such a fun gift, and I think its so cute! I haven't brought myself to pull it apart quite yet :)

A note from my niece Kaylee. It says "Dear Amelia! You are the best. I am glad that I have a new cousin. Love Kaylee!"

I had a lot of fun at the baby shower. We played a few games, including the clothes pin game, where if you caught someone saying the word baby, you got to steal their clothes pin. Whoever had the most at the end of the party got a prize. Dan and I received so many presents! Clothes, blankets, a boppy, baby towels, a jumper that hangs in the doorway, diapers...so many I can't list them all! I really enjoyed the shower, and I think everyone had fun! It was great to see everyone! And now, I am just that much more excited for little man to get here! Seriously, waiting is killer. Everyone is probably laughing at me, because I really have so long still, but it is really starting to feel close! And I can't wait :)
