Dan and I have had a great Christmas break. It was bittersweet today with Daniel going back to BYU for the beginning of Winter Semester. We made sure to have lots of fun over break. We spent lots of time with family, ate way too much, and laughed lots.
We spent Christmas Eve and Day with Dan's family. On Christmas Eve we went and saw Dan's little sister Kaitlin, perform in Savior of the World. It was excellent, and a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. In the afternoon we went to Dan's grandparents for a wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner!! It was so much fun to see so much family. Dan's Grandma gives all the grandkids books, and we even got one for baby Benjamin!

After Dinner we went back home, read Christmas stories, opened Christmas pajamas, and enjoyed the rest of the evening relaxing!
Christmas Day was a blast and we were definitely spoiled by family. We got lots of fun presents and enjoyed spending the day with people we love!
The day after Christmas we switched families and went and spent time with my side. One fun thing we did was take my mom, sister, and brother-in-law shooting. It was lots of fun!!
We also spent New Years with my family, but I didn't take any pictures :( We had raclette for dinner, played lots of games, and kissed at midnight! It was basically perfect!
We also celebrated by birthday! I got totally spoiled. Every year I get three different celebrations. One from my family, one from Dan's side of the family, and then Dan and I always celebrate just the two of us. Dan spoiled me this year. I have been getting exceedingly uncomfortable as the third trimester has progressed. I take lots of baths lately to help with the aches and pains. For my birthday Dan got us a hotel with a whirlpool tub, and I pretty much soaked in it all night. It was heavenly!! And just what I wanted!! We also went to restaurant called The Mandarin for dinner. It was so yummy!!
Dan's little brother also got baptized on my birthday.
Last of all, I need to include a bump update on this post. Needless to say, I'm starting to get huge. I think the thing I'm looking forward to the most is having my face and neck thin out again. Hahaha, I just feel like I look quite chubby in the face, so that will be nice.
Here is my 34 week baby bump. Benjamin moves all the time, and it can sometimes be quite uncomfortable. He is getting so big, so there is a lot of pressure in his movements! But they still make me smile everyday. I'm just so grateful to have him, and I can't wait to meet this little guy! Dan and I are trying to get everything ready for his big arrival, and slowly things are coming together. People have been so generous, it really is amazing!!
