Date Nights, RMs, and Easter

Having a baby makes life way crazy and busy! I wish I had time to upload pictures and write about events as they happen, but this post will have to be somewhat of a photo dump. I promise to try harder, but for now I need to play a little bit of catch-up :)

Dan and I have been trying to continue with date nights, even with Benjamin. Date nights are shorter now, but we like to find things we can take Benjamin with us. I'm always proud of us when we take Benjamin out and have a successful and fun evening. We have been blessed with a great baby who will fall asleep in his carseat and stroller almost immediately. This has been great!! One evening we went to the Bean Museum. I had never been, and Dan hadn't been since they remodeled the building. It was very fun!!

Another date we went on more recently was a Parachute concert. My sister Anna watched Benjamin, since we figured he wouldn't like the noise too much. The concert was really fun, and then we went out and got frozen yogurt afterward. That might have been my favorite part :) It was fun to sit and talk without any interruptions or being worried that Benjamin was going to wake up/cry/etc.

The crazy line!!

There they are!!!
I was able to go to the Women's General Conference Session with my mom, sister, and aunt. Dan watched Benjamin. It was lots of fun to hang out with these amazing women!!!

We were able to go to Kaylee's baptism. She is such a cutie pie!

Dan's brother came home from his LDS mission to Ghana, Africa. It was fun to go see him at the airport! He was so much skinnier and tanner than when he left! Bradley had never met Benjamin, so it was fun for them to meet! It is crazy to think about how much has changed in our lives in the last two years, and also how much will change in the coming two!!

We celebrated Benjamin's first Easter with the McGuire clan. I love celebrating holidays with baby Benjamin. Even though he doesn't care or know whats going on, I at least enjoy getting adorable pictures of him :) He is my little baby doll to dress up and play with!!

The easter bunny was sneaky in hiding Benjamin's basket. Luckily Benjamin loves lights/fans so he found it pretty quickly ;)

My mom made these cute stuffed animals for Benjamin, and they were in his basket! There is a bunny and a mouse. They are so adorable!! He loved them, can't you tell!! ;)

We have been busy as a little family. Life is crazy, but we are adjusting!
