During the break between winter semester and spring term we decided to have a staycation. We planned some fun activities that weren't too expensive so we could enjoy the little break that we had together.
On Thursday we went on a short hike. We put Benjamin in our baby carrier and took him with us. It wasn't his favorite, but he did pretty good. It just got kind of hot and I I think he wanted to get out. We hiked up to a beautiful waterfall!!!
Benjamin is such a dolly!! We sure love him to death!!
I've been trying my hand at being a Jamberry Consultant!! It has been a lot of fun!!! On Friday night I had a party at my sisters house to run!! It was lots of fun! And I have really been enjoying having cute nails, especially since I have never been that into doing my nails before!
Saturday we had a pretty lazy morning, just relaxing at my parents house. We had stayed up there since my sister lives close and we needed to be there on Sunday too. This way we didn't have to drive back and forth a bunch.
Saturday afternoon we went to the zoo!! It has been a long time since I went to the zoo, and it was a lot of fun!!!
Elephants are my favorite!!!
Benjamin pretty much slept the whole time!!
Dan and I are both super excited for Jurassic world to come out, so I had to get a picture by the dinosaur!!
I also love giraffes!! It was starting to rain, so we decided to hide under a canopy and watch the giraffes until it stopped! Little did we know it was going to start down pouring and we'd be stuck under there for 20 minutes!!! We finally made a run for the car, and only got mostly soaked!!!
Sunday we had Benjamin's blessing, but that will be a post of its own :)
