Having a child makes all the holidays better, even when that child is a little stink who doesn't notice or really care ;) At least he is my stink and the cutest stink there is!! We had a fun week leading up to Halloween doing all the October activities we could think of! Benjamin is such a cutie-pie and its fun to involve him in holiday traditions. I know it will only get more fun from here as he gets more and more aware of what the holidays mean :)
On Monday night we carved pumpkins for Family Night. Benjamin has a cute little pumpkin that we are using as decoration, and then Dan and I each carved our won. We let Benjamin play in the seeds and guts. He wasn't too sure about them. At first he just poked them, then he grabbed the whole pile and threw it on the floor! It was pretty funny!
Dan carved a Frankenstein face, I carved a spooky jack-o-lantern. They turned out pretty good!!
On Tuesday Mariah and I went out for lunch. Not really Halloween-ish, but fun all the same! We went to Zuppa's! It was fun to have girl time (plus Benjamin)!
Tuesday night we cooked pumpkin seeds! We had a little bit of a competition, and I'm proud to say I most definitely won ;) Dan made a Sweet & Spicy seed and a Pepper seed, I made a Garlic Parmesan seed. They were all delicious!! We rated them based on appearance, smell, and taste!! Yummy!!
On Friday Dan gets home early, so we decided to go to Jaker's. Its a pumpkin patch that has hay rides, a petting zoo, corn and hay maze, and a huge corn pit for the kids to play in! It was a lot of fun. And I know I'm biased, but Benjamin looked adorable in his hat and coat!

| A little unsure about being buried in corn!! Haha |
That night we dressed up for Halloween to go trick-or-treating! We decided to go to family homes only, mostly so they could just see how cute our baby boy is!! We did end up getting a little bit of candy too, which we are most gracious for. I am going to be so chubby, because Benjamin is too little to eat candy! Hahaha.

As we drove from family to family we also stopped at Gardner's village to look at the witches! The shops and boutiques were so cute!
We stopped at my grandma's house for a visit! I am happy to have a picture of Benjamin and his great Grandma! Benjamin is really lucky to have all his grandparents and 5 great grandparents living!!
It was a fun week of halloween activities that we all really enjoyed!!
