I absolutely love Thanksgiving. It is absolutely my most favorite holiday :P Thanksgiving marks a special time of the year. It is the beginning of "The Holidays" where we get to focus on family and friends, and the Savior just a little more than we normally do. I was especially excited for the holidays because this year I have my own son to share the fun with! Even though he is still so little, I want to make the holidays special for him! Dan and I have talked a lot about what kind of traditions we want to have/start. I'm sure we will add as time goes on (and some only work with older kids) but we are excited to start making memories as a little family of three!
Benjamin is so cute! This is him the day before Thanksgiving! He was my little packing buddy, and he did awesome! He played with toys on the ground and crawled around and followed me while I packed everything we would need to spend the long weekend at Dan's parent's house.

Thanksgiving morning was pretty chill. We watched a little bit of the parade, the boys played football in the backyard (including Benjamin!!), and we kind of just relaxed until it was time to head over to dinner at Dan's aunt's home.
Benjamin had a new outfit to wear for the holiday - it was a steal of a deal, I got it for $2.50! And it has a cute little turkey on his butt!

Thanksgiving dinner was delicious! We spent the afternoon with the McGuire side of Dan's family. It was fun to see all of the aunts/uncles and cousins. Benjamin liked all the people, and chasing the puppy around!
We stayed at Dan's parents house until Saturday night! We had a ton of fun. We played lots of games, hung out with his siblings, ate delicious food, made graham shacks, and went Black Friday shopping.
Benjamin enjoying some pretzel sticks! He is finally getting good at picking food up and eating it himself!! And he is proud of himself for it :)

We had a great Thanksgiving break, and it was a fun time to remember and contemplate the important things in life. It is always nice to step back from 'real' life and breathe, relax, and think about our many blessings. Dan and I have both been so blessed this year, there are barely words. Benjamin is the highlight in both of our lives and we are so grateful for him. We are also grateful for our amazing families and the love and support they give us. I am also ridiculously grateful to have Dan in my life. He is the greatest blessing I have ever received, and life is so much more enjoyable with him in it. I love him to pieces :)
