I've had a fair amount of time on my hands while Dan is at work all day. Since I wasn't able to find myself a job (at least not one that wanted me for only 5 weeks) I've been at home a lot lately. So I've started becoming a pinterest junkie. Hahaha, what can I say? Usually I just look at the crafts, but I finely decided to take a stab at one of the projects, and it didn't turn out too bad.
For the project all you really need is a blank piece of canvas (I bought mine at hobby lobby), a hot glue gun, and a pack of crayons
I hot glued the crayons onto the canvas. I chose to take of the wrappers off of my crayons (because they were RoseArt, not Crayola. But I've seen a lot of people leave them on).
We just kept blow drying it until we got it to look the way we wanted. I think if we had left the wrappers on the crayons the colors wouldn't have mixed so much as we melted them, but I like the way ours turned.
The end product. :) We're quite happy with it! And it will look awesome in the apartment we're moving to at the end of August.
We have to do this for Mikelle's room. Will you help me! It'll be fun! Next week Mike is back to work if you want to do it one day next week.
