The fun has arrived...

The Birthday Boy!!!

Oh man, the day is finally here!! I'm so excited, and honored, and just plain lucky to get to celebrate this boys birthday! What a fun week we've had, all leading up to today!! Can you believe that 22 years ago Dan was born?? I'm so crazy about this kid its not even funny. For those of you who don't know Dan all that well here are 22 fabulous facts about him - you should get to know him better!!

1. He was born on August 16, 1990 : On that day 
       1. China PR performed nuclear test at Lop Nor PRC 
       2. Iraq ordered 4000 Britons & 2500 Americans in Kuwait to Iraq
(really, thats all I could find for interesting events that day. Apparently Dan's birth really was the best part of the day, worldwide!!)

2. He's funny . . . like really funny. Like roll around on the floor funny. Its the best!!

3. He's got great taste in movies! . . . Remember the Titans is his favorite

4. He's hardworking - probably the hardest worker I've ever met.

5. He's got a great smile.

6. He could definitely beat up your husband, boyfriend, dad, or any other man in your life. You know the whole "My husband can beat up your husband" . . . well, mine actually can!

7. He's outgoing - seriously, he's the best in social situations because he never runs out of topics for conversation! Great to have by your side if you're like me, and a little awkward around people you don't know.

8. He cooks . . . yup, thats rights! He cooks, and dang well too!

9. He's a Civil Engineering major. He's going to build thing. Big things . . . and he'll make sure they don't fall down too. :)

10. He'll watch any movie or TV show I want, as long as we get to be together! And poor guy, I've made him watch some pretty dumb stuff!!

11. He's a great older brother and an awesome example!! He's got 5 younger siblings, and loves them all to pieces!

12. He loves kids ... the first time he met my family, he spent basically the whole evening entertaining my nephew! My nephew was about 18 months, and absolutely loved him! I've never heard Will giggle so much!

13. He will eat anything I cook . . . and he always tells me it's delicious! Even if its pretty gross. What a sweetie!

14. He loves spending time with family. His, mine, ours. I love it!!

15. He loves surprises . . . You have no idea how much fun we've both had this week!!

16. He's extremely loving and sweet. He takes such amazing care of me.

17. He's a firm believer in date night . . . which I have come to love, and look forward to as well!!

18. He never gives up . . . he will keep trying, fighting, working until he either succeeds or dies. Up to this point he's always succeeded, incase you couldn't tell!

19. He served a mission in Brazil (Brasil) and he'd be happy to talk about it to any of you at anytime!! He's got some amazing stories for sure!

20. He's a dork. But the good kind :) We can be silly and just have fun. I think this is a necessary part of life, otherwise it can get boring and way too serious!

21. He is 5'10" - my same height! It's fun because no one has to bend over when we kiss. Or stand on tippy toes. I guess we were made for each other :)

22. He's my best friend! I wouldn't trade him for anything. Ever. I can't believe I get to spend eternity with him!!! What a wonderful and amazing blessing that is
