The lake is one of my favorite places on earth. It is beautiful and serene; the perfect getaway vacation. This trip is a little different than the norm. When I come to the cabin it is usually for a week long family reunion. There are usually around 35 of us, with lots of little kids!! Its always a blast, but kind of crazy. This vacation there are only 5 of us, and my little sister is the youngest. She's 18. Its awesome because we get to have tons of grown-up fun!! And no one is left out because of little kids or anything!
Our first full day at the lake was wonderful! Lots of quality family time, swimming, laughing, and soaking up the sun. We woke up and had a nice church lesson. Then we all put on our swimming suits and went swimming! It was so fun. We jumped on the trampoline lots too.

The weather was pretty nice! Wisconsin has been having a pretty cold summer. A couple of weeks ago it barely got into the 70s. We were pretty lucky this week. It was probably the just around 90 during the first day. It was nice and sunny, great swimming weather!

After swimming the boys made a fire and we had tinfoil dinners. They were yummy!

It was kind of toasty so we all decided we needed to go swimming again. This time we didn't have any patience for swimsuits - we jumped right in with our clothes on! Mom and dad got in too, so that was pretty fun! We enjoyed being silly and just relaxing.

Dad had to take pictures before he came in with us. Poor mom and Dan were wearing jeans. It was harder for them to swim.
We had a packed Sunday. So much fun. Daniel is learning to love the lake just as much as I do :)
