Monday Night, Family Night

What a great Monday it has been! And I can probably count the times that I've written or said that on one hand, so it must be a miracle! The normal daily stuff - waking up early, work, school, homework - weren't all that exciting, but once Daniel got home at 3:30 it has been a party over here! We started off by hitting the BYU racquetball courts for some nice competitive play. As a side note, remember the outfit I was wearing in this post? Same location, same activity, different day. Well, apparently my clothes are offensive to the general BYU public and they wouldn't let me in this time without donning a t-shirt. (the girl at the front desk informed me that when a man tells me I need to put on a t-shirt its sexual assault, but when a woman tells me my clothes are inappropriate it all fine and dandy - apparently thats why I slipped through the cracks last time) So I promptly put on a t-shirt, got my wristband, and then took off my t-shirt and played some racquetball. Needless to say I probably won't make it into Heaven now, but with all those t-shirt wearing folk there I probably don't want to go anyways.

Dan and I had a really good time playing though. Racquetball brings out my competitive side, probably because I'm not very good and Dan squashes me every time. I'm pretty sure he could totally skunk me, but he is nice enough to let me get a couple of points every game!

After racquetball we went home. Dan took a nap while I studied. Then we watched The Bucket List.

It was my first time seeing it, and I liked it overall. Parts of it were slow, but the message was cute. For those of you who have seen it Dan and I agreed that our favorite part is when the old man crosses off "kiss the most beautiful girl in the world" after meeting his granddaughter for the first time.

After watching the movie we decided we needed to make our own bucket list. I don't think either of us know exactly what we want to do before we die, so we decided to work on a smaller scale. Our Fall Semester Bucket List is what we came up with. I'm sure in the next couple of days we will come up with more ideas, but until then we are excited with what we have!

  1. Love the Bucket List Idea. I think I will make one for fall also. I like that it is short term! Love reading what you are doing. You two are so fun. So proud of all the things you are doing!!!
