So much fun for just one weekend!

This weekend has bee jam-packed with crazy fun activities! I had so much fun doing everything, but it has also been nice to spend most of my Sunday relaxing with the hubby.

So on Friday night Mariah and drove to SLC to go to the Josh Groban concert! It was such a good concert. Josh Groban was very personable and down-to-earth. Those are two things I really appreciate in anyone famous. He also had a kick-butt band! Holy smokes, I think they were my favorite part. His violinist was crazy insane! I loved it so much! And it made me miss my good ole' violin. I played 4th-12th grade. Anyways, it was spectacular!

Then Saturday morning Dan and I got up super early to go fishing with his family. We picked up Kristin on the way, met his dad and Kaitlin up at the lake, and Scott and Katie followed us up as well. We had lots of fun building a fire, fishing, eating cinnamon rolls, and enjoying the fall weather (Well, at least after it warmed up a bit).

I again didn't catch any fish! Thats twice in a row now for me. But Dan did! And they were lots bigger than the fish at Mill Hollow. The fish Dan is holding is actually too small to keep though. Anything between 15 and 22 inches had to be thrown back. But, by the way Dan is holding the fish, it looks like its probably blind now. Poor fish.

And it was beautiful in the mountains!

After we got back from fishing Dan had to head to work. I was bummed, because that meant I'd be home alone the rest of the day. I always get lonely when I'm home alone with not much to do. Luckily I've got an awesome sister who lives nearby and I got to go hang out with Anna and her family. Her husband was also at work, so that worked out lovely.

We went to Jaker's which is a farm with lots of fun activities for kids. We played in corn pits, took a hayride, went through a maze, and looked at farm animals.

Cutie Pie!

The kids were so cute, and I had fun! Afterwards I went back to Anna's and hung out with her until Dan got off work. She fed me dinner and everything :) We really had a great time!

Then today (Sunday) Dan and I went up to visit my mom and dad. They just got back from Wisconsin this past week, so it's been over a month since we've seen them. We had a nice dinner and spent the evening talking with them.

Now we're at home relaxing! We sure are lucky to have so much family living nearby and so many opportunities to spend time with them! What a great weekend it has been!
