Brazilian Lunch :)

Daniel has been home from his mission for just over two years! (Oct. 13 was two years exactly) Dan and I met about 3 weeks after he got home! Neither of us can believe how long its been! Daniel served in Brazil, Belo Horizonte. He absolutely fell in love with the people, culture, and location.

In order to celebrate I decided to make him a traditional Brazilian meal. I decorated the house with pictures, flags, and other things that he brought home from Brazil.

We had feijoada, collard greens, rice, pao de queijo, rice, and orange slices. It probably looks kind of gross, but it turned out delicious!!

We had a fun time reminiscing about Dan's mission and the wonderful people he met there. I'm so grateful for a husband who gave up two entire years of his life to serve others who aren't as fortunate as we are.
