Bradley's Wedding

Dan's brother Bradley got married this last Friday. It was a crazy, fun-filled, and exhausting day!! But we are very happy for Bradley and Sharlee and are excited that they will be living close to us!!

Here is how my morning started:

I obviously had the best view in the house. These two are the best of the best, I'm kind of smitten.

Bradley and Sharlee got married in the Bountiful Temple, the same place Dan and I got married just over 3 years ago now. They actually got married in the same exact room, which is a funny little coincidence.

The best part of attending other people's wedding is reminiscing about your own. Dan and I absolutely loved our wedding day, so it is with fond memory that we get to look back on the great times we had! It was also pretty crazy to think about how quickly life changes. Here we are 3 years later with a little baby boy and more in love than ever.

We took some pictures outside of the temple as a wedding party, and then we had Dan's aunt snap some of the three of us on my phone really quick before we left. I don't have a lot of family photos, so it was nice to get one while we were all dressed up!! Cutie pie little Benjamin was in suspenders and a bow tie . . . bow ties just kill me on little boys. He will definitely be wearing one for as long as I can control it :)

Then we jumped into the car to head to the luncheon.

Love this boy of mine!!!
The luncheon was delicious. Dan's mom had Mo' Bettah's cater, and it is one of our favorite places to eat in Bountiful!! Yummy!! (plus there were tons of leftovers!!)

The reception was fun and very nicely put together as well. The wedding colors were orange, purple, and grey. I got to wear a corsage, which was fun. I think it is the first corsage I've ever gotten. I gave it to my super cute little cousin before we left!

Flowers!

Right before the party began!

So cute story. Dan's little brother, Preston, came running up to us one time, and I noticed his purple rose was completely gone. All that was left in his boutonniere were the green leafs, and a few rose remnants. I asked him if I could take it off for him. I think he was a little excited that he wouldn't have to wear it anymore, and then when I showed it to him he was shocked the flower was totally gone!! He had been playing and having so much fun that he didn't even notice! What a cutie!!

Preston and his boutonniere

Here is a closer look of Benjamin in his wedding get-up. These were taken the day before the wedding so I could make sure everything fit and was going to work. He is such a little cutie!! Seriously melts my heart!!

what a doll!!

He loves that dang pointer finger!
It was a fun day, and I think I got the best nights sleep ever the night afterward!! I never realized how tiring a wedding could be. The last wedding I was really involved in was my own, but on my wedding day I didn't have to do any of the heavy lifting!! Haha. The wedding day was beautiful and I was grateful that we got to be a part of it! It's always fun to watch two people who are so in love begin their own little family!
