On Saturday our friends Scott and Katie stopped by to visit with their daughter Ellie. They moved to Texas about a year ago, so it was great to catch up!! The four of us have really been through everything together. We got engaged on the same day, they got married the day before we did, and we now both have kids. It was fun to visit with them.
While they were here I had this realization that Dan and I have really become a 'family'. I mean, when you get married you are totally a family, but when you add in a little baby there is just something that feels more real. Instead of just living for yourselves, doing whatever you want when you want, you suddenly have this little helpless baby that relys on you for everything. It is terrifying, but awesome all at the same time. And it is fun too. I love that we have a family. I love that its not just Dan and I anymore, but I get to sign everything as Dan, Amelia, and Benjamin.
