What an amazing last two weeks we have had with Dani in our family! I can’t wait to write a more detailed post about how this experience has gone for me emotionally/mentally/physically. But for now I want to post a ton of photos and dote on this sweet little girlie that has totally changed our lives!!
Dani’s two week check up was today. She weighed in at 9 lbs 14 oz. This made me so happy, because I so want breastfeeding to go well, and that first weight check is a nice indication of how things are going. Dani eats every two hours for about five minutes. At night she can usually go between 3 and 4 hours and will generally nurse a little longer as well!
Aunt Anna and Uncle Mike came to visit for a few hours one day. They brought this super adorable outfit for Dani, and I had the perfect bow to match! This baby is seriously such a doll!!
Dani’s second week of life also saw the end of my moms visit! We had so much fun together, so it was bittersweet to see her leave. We took some pictures of her with the grand babies before she left!
Friday night for family date night we made a gingerbread train! Dan and Benjamin were so cute working together on it!!
A lot of these pictures are just sweet, normal moments with my cute kids.
It’s so cute to see how much Benjamin adores his little sister!!
Early morning snuggles in mommy’s bed! Dan and I set up a tv in our room, and Benj has enjoyed watching Arthur in the mornings!
Dani and I on her due date! So glad she was on the outside, not still in!!
Benjamin and I were both taking care of our babies one day!! He was nursing his baby doll!
What a cute little tongue!!
I have been feeling amazing, so I took the kiddos on a walk one afternoon! The fresh air was so refreshing!!! And Benjamin loved running around and getting some extra energy out!
This little girlie loves to suck on just about anything!!
I’m totally smitten with this little girl! I feel so blessed to have two little people in my care, who are so much fun and so sweet! Benjamin and I are both adjusting to having someone else in our daily routine, but so far things are going fairly smoothly! A little less sleep at night, but that’s totally worth it!!
