What We've Been Up To :)

I haven't posted in the past week or so, but not because we haven't been doing lots of fun things. There are a few main causes by blogging has stunk recently. Mainly its because my card reader on my laptop has stopped working. So now in order to get pictures onto my computer I have to have Dan put them on his computer, email them to me, and then download them to my own computer. So basically it takes a short eternity to upload any pictures.

Another reason I don't post as often as I would like is because I feel awkward taking pictures in public places, so a lot of time I just leave my camera at home. But when I don't have pictures I don't like posting about the things we do. I feel like without pictures, a story isn't worth much.

But I'm going to post now, without pictures, and try to make do with what I have. And with a little help from google :)

Here are a few of the fun things that we have checked off our bucket list in the past few days.

1. We saw Pride and Prejudice performed at BYU

It was a pretty good production, although BBC's Pride and Prejudice will always be my favorite version. My only complaint with the version we saw were some of the jokes. They were too modern for the time period, and they felt silly, rather than authentic, to me.

2. We went and saw Divergent at the theater

I've read the book, and for the most part I felt like this was a very good adaptation. There were a few changes, but the movie was really good. Dan hasn't read the book, and while it was a little more difficult for him to follow, he also enjoyed the movie. Dan and I have the best deal going on when it comes to theaters. Dan is the movie buff, so he loves going to movies in the theater, whereas I'm happy just waiting until it comes out on DVD. So when we go to the movies we go for Dan, but we get popcorn for me :) Its really a great deal, because we end up getting a movie and popcorn, and nothing can go wrong with that combination.

Otherwise we have just been living life like normal. Dan is going to school and working, while I am just working part time. Its going well, although I get bored sometimes. I need something else to do with all my free time, so I'm on the lookout for new fun things to do. :)
