Date Night: BYU Football

This past weekend Daniel and I were supposed to go camping. We had it all planned for almost a week. We had invited another couple to go with us, and we were all very excited. And then last week was rainy, cold, and downright gross. We were still planning on going though, we were just going to tough out the cold temperature and enjoy ourselves. We were planning on going up to Mill Hollow so we could fish too. Well, last minute the four of us decided it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do! All we could imagine was being miserable the whole time! (Turns out it was a really good thing we didn't go! The campground was closed because of SNOW. There was a good 3-4 inches of snow up there!)

So when those plans got cancelled Dan and I knew we needed to replace them with something equally awesome! My little sister went out of town for the weekend. She was totally awesome and let us borrow her sports-pass. And then Dan's little sister asked everyone she knew until she found us another pass. Dan and I were super excited to get to go to the BYU v. Middle Tennessee football game! Its probably the only game we'll get to go to all year! We had a blast!!

Dan's sister sat with us for most of the game! We had lots of fun cheering the Cougars on to victory!! It was pretty cold that evening, but we had sweatshirts and lots of blankets to stay warm.

When we were headed into the stadium we were stopped by people from Deseret First Credit Union. They gave us these free shirts:

The best part about these shirts was that if you came back at half time wearing them you'd get a 10 dollar voucher for food anywhere in the stadium. So yeah...between the two of us we got 20 bucks!! It was the greatest thing because we were both starving! We planned on buying food anyway, but this was free!!

Filling up on pretzels, nachos, and cheese :)
about to score

We had such a great time! The final score was 37-10. The cougars were pretty much dominating towards the end, so Dan and I left after the third quarter. It was a blast and we were proud to cheer on our team!
